8% of Dutch believe in aliens

Aliens exist and they live in our midst disguised as humans — at least, that’s what 8 percent of Dutch people polled in a global survey believe. According to a poll by Reuters Ipsos worldwide.

The Reuters Ipsos poll of 23,000 adults in 22 countries showed that more than 40 percent of people from India and China believe that aliens walk among us disguised as humans, while those least likely to believe in this are from Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands (8 percent each).

Also in Sweden and Belgium many people do not believe that aliens disguised as people participate in our everyday life. India and China are thinking very differently, according to the poll.

There more than 40 percent think that the aliens have conquered their place in the world. Globally, one in five people believe that aliens are living around the corner.

The researchers also found that more men (22 percent) than women (17 percent) believe in extraterrestrial presence on earth. Also, most “believers” younger than 35. The study surveyed 23,000 adults in 22 countries.
