ROC student make-up competition: Face-off, Amsterdam style
Halloween is a most primal form of creative expression. So, this Halloween Amsterdam Spook and the ROCvA make-up school have joined creative forces to offer aspiring artists a very unique chance to showcase their talents. Students will compete on the night of Amsterdam Spook’s 13th annual Halloween party to create an original work of makeup art on a selection of crew members, including the hostess and performers. The artists will have just two hours to complete the look. Winners will be chosen during the following week via public voting on the website and Facebook channels.

About Amsterdam Spook
Amsterdam Spook has organised theme parties in Amsterdam since 2000, including a now legendary Halloween bash. Each year, the Halloween costume party is given a new theme. The theme is conjured up somewhere from the depths of a very charged imagination, and then the story begins. Over the period of the year that follows, creative costumes, décor, artists, DJs and performers and a venue are all specially crafted and selected, with the goal of creating an immersive, beyond-the-norm, authentic Halloween experience.

What sets these parties apart from the rest? We’re ALL about Halloween! The costumes are fun, the crowd is awesome and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Curious? Check out the site for past parties!
