The theme for Amsterdam Spook’s 14th annual Halloween Costume Party is the afterlife destination for the souls of the dead who were evil and wicked in their mortal lives – The UNDERWORLD. Join us beyond the depths of purgatory, and into the fiery pits of hell. A Halloween costume party this good would be a sin to miss.

Halloween Hotel: A Room With A Boo!
As part of this year’s Amsterdam Halloween Festival, Amsterdam Spook and the Hotel Arena are offering a limited amount of special Halloween packages for overnights on Halloween weekend. Package includes an overnight for two, party tickets, late breakfast in bed (with Bloody Marys), goodie bag, bottle of Prosecco, Halloween treats and creepy details we won’t warn guests about. 229.00 euros for two.

ROC student makeup competitions
In the spirit of encouraging creativity in horror in the Netherlands, we’re thrilled to team up with ROC makeup students again this year! In June, students got to pitch their Underworld themed Halloween poster ideas to Amsterdam Spook. Winner was Irina Wehrmeijer. For a 2nd year, students will also compete in a character competition on Halloween night. More details:

2014 Amsterdam Halloween Festival, 29 Oct – 2 Nov
Serving up 5 days of bloody good Halloween fun, Amsterdam Spook presents the Amsterdam Halloween Festival, now in its 5th year. The 2014 programme will be announced at the end of August. Some initial highlights include: a themed dinner, makeup workshops, all-night horror movie marathon, costumed rollerskate, kid’s event – and Amsterdam’s sickest Halloween party: The UNDERWORLD at Hotel Arena Club on All Hallow’s Eve.

Some 3,000 Halloween fans come from all over the Netherlands & the globe for the Amsterdam Halloween Festival’s bloody good fun: US, UK, Finland, Limburg, and even a group of die-hard Halloween fans all the way from Kuwait. More info at:
