Belgians break Dutch world record gaming

20 Belgian gamers broke the world record non-stop gaming last week.

The worlds record was finally broken by three remaining players, and now stands at 109 hours. The world title holder was the Netherlands with fifty hours.

The 20 Belgian gamers started last Saturday at 10 am and broke the world record non-stop gaming.

The game that was played for the world record attempt was Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for the Xbox 360.

The three winners were each awarded 1,500 Euros, an Xbox 360 console, a headset and a Steel Series-headset voucher worth 125 Euros.

Their names will be listed in the next edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. The world record was previously held by six Dutch guys, who played the game Red Dead Redemption for fifty hours in a row earlier this year.

They each receive a cash sum of 1000 Euros and a twist dock, a charging station for the PlayStation 3.
