Former US President Bill Clinton will play himself in “The Hangover 2,” a sequel to the 2009 comedy about three groomsmen who lose their soon-to-wed friend after a drunken night in Las Vegas, according to People magazine.
Clinton, 64, plays himself in the comedy flick, being shot on location in Thailand. He filmed his part over the weekend while in Bangkok to give a speech on clean energy.
The movie also stars Wedding Crashers actor Bradley Cooper and Due Date’s Zach Galifianakis. Over the weekend it was announced that “John Adams” star Paul Giamatti would also appear.
The film made headlines earlier this month when Mel Gibson, who was slated for a short role as a tattoo artist, was dropped from the cast. He was replaced by Liam Neeson.
The film, directed by Todd Phillips, is set to arrive in cinemas in May next year.
