The Holland in the Valley Startup Bootcamp week kicks off in San Francisco on Monday, June 3rd featuring the latest crop of some of the most innovative growth companies from the Netherlands that have been invited to participate in a four-day intensive introduction to Silicon Valley.
Now in its fifth year, the Startup Bootcamp, organized by the Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco, offers companies the tools they need to succeed in Silicon Valley and similar thriving business communities. The program is designed to provide a first-hand experience of the Silicon Valley ecosystem with a series of workshops and roundtable discussions with industry experts, a road trip through Silicon Valley with visits to key players who share their experiences and insights about living and building a business there, and individual sessions to address and discuss specific needs.
The program ends with our flagship event, the Dutch Demo Night, on June 6 at Harlot SF. During this event, a selection of 6 participants will take the floor for 3-minute pitches presented before an expert panel.
In addition to Dutch Demo Night, highlights of the trip include visits and meetings with VigLink, Frontdesk Anywhere, Symbaloo, Stanford, Mozilla, Opus Capital, Facebook, Air BnB, and many more.
“We are pleased to be hosting the fifth annual Startup Bootcamp together with our partners in the Holland in the Valley network,” says Consul-General Bart van Bolhuis. “This program gives Dutch entrepreneurs and startups the chance to get a taste of the unique Silicon Valley ecosystem and to showcase their expertise.”
Participating companies from the Netherlands include: Authasas, Cyclodeo, FlorAccess, Holland Haptics, MTreader, Notificare, Qandidate, Readmore, SimGas, Susteq, Translin, and Zeef. To read their profiles, visit the Startup Bootamp participant’s page.
