Dutch inflation rate unchanged in November

In November the Dutch inflation rate was 2.6 ercent, just like October’s inflation rate. Dutch inflation has been around this level since July of this year, according to the latest figures by Statistics Netherlands.

The effect of price changes in clothing and petrol helped lower the inflation rate, whereas the effect of the price changes for flowers and plants helped raise it.

According to the harmonised method (HICP) of calculating inflation within the EU, the Dutch inflation rate stands at 2.7 percent. This is 0.1 percent point lower than in October. The inflation rate in the Eurozone was 3.0 percent for the third month in a row.
