Dutch models popular during New York Fashion Week

Dutch Models are increasingly popular during the International Fashion Weeks. New York fashion week takes place this week and already several Dutch models have been seen on the catwalk.

Newcomer Mirte Maas had the honor to open the show of one of the most popular designers of New York Fashion Week: Alexander Wang.

The appearance of Mirte did not go unnoticed by the fashion industry. Already several bloggers and fashion editors talked about the “fresh face”.

Mirte recently signed with Women Management, the New York modeling agency that stood at the foot of the careers of top models such as Carmen Kass, Natasha Poly, Julia Stegner and Kate Moss.

Also Patricia van der Vliet, one of the participants of the TV show Hollands Next top model, flew over to New York to give her career a boost. The Dutch model opened the show of BCBG Max Azria.

On the catwalk at Herve Leger by Max Azria was a record number of Dutch models with Lisanne De Jong and Nimue Smit on the catwalk.

Dutch top models Doutzen Kroes and Lara Stone have made way for the new Dutch talent.

Many Dutch models are expected on the catwalk during the fashion weeks in Milan and Paris.
