Dutch Municipality receives Neighborhood annoyances via iPhone

The Dutch may notify their frustrations to their municipality about road dirt, graffiti or a loose paving through a special iPhone application.

Users can send a photo and gps data about the exact location, so the Municipality can take action, according to the creators.

The municipality of Eindhoven is the first municipality that traces complaints via a system and shows how the problem was handled.

The application is free to download on the iPhone. Applications for other smart phones will be available soon, said director Jens Steensma of development company Yucat.
