G-Star has the honor to open the first Dutch store on Rodeo Drive, the famous shopping boulevard with designer labels in Beverly Hills, California.
The shop gets a spot on Rodeo Drive between shops from designer labels like Prada and Hermes.
The G-Star shop will be renamed to RAWdeo Drive for the occasion of their RAW collection and will be officially opened in May.
It is not the first shop of the ‘brand jeans in Los Angeles. There is already a branch in Santa Monica and one on Melrose Avenue.
It fits with the plans of G-Star to grow significantly in the U.S. and Asia this year.
End of this year, the group will open its biggest store so far on Times Square in New York, said marketing director Joris Aperghis in the French journal FashionMag.
G-Star has now over fifteen stores in America. G-Star opened an online shop for the Netherlands in 2010 and will be expanded to Britain and the U.S later this year.
This weekend G-Star will present its new collection in New York on the catwalk during the New York Fashion Week.
