Remarkable recovery of Dutch Tourism

The tourism industry in the Netherlands has made a remarkable recovery from the repercussions of global financial crisis according to a new report indicating a noticeable increase in the number of tourists.

The Dutch hotel and Tourism industry is making a remarkable recovery. Many Americans, Japanese and Russians tourists are visiting the Nethlands for Dutch canals, cheese and flower.

25% more Japanese tourists visited the Netherlands on the first nine months of 2010 and also more toerists from North America and Russia were in Amsterdam and other Dutch toerist attractions. This shows the optimistic report of the Dutch Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) and forty other tourist agencies from the ETC united European.

This shows that the Netherlands had nearly 11% more foreign tourists and 8% more hotels bookings in the first half of this year.

Besides many travelers from France, Britain and in particular the growing number of visitors from Italy.

According to the ETC report Germany contributed nothing to restore the sector. In the first nine months of this year the number of German tourists remained nearly the same.
