Google launches Real-Time Traffic in the Netherlands

Search giant Google has released an update for its Google Maps service. The update makes it possible to view Real-Time Traffic in the Netherlands on Google maps and satellite photos.

The new road traffic information is in the traffic layer on Google Maps and Google Maps for mobile, and Google Maps Navigation.

The new countries with traffic information coverage are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland.

The live traffic layer on Google Maps is updated every 5-10 minutes. It is also possible to view the predicted traffic conditions for any day and time, based on past traffic conditions.

Coverage includes all freeways and highways, as well as large roads in major cities according to Google .
