Guns N ‘Roses coming to the Netherlands in October

The American hard rock band Guns N ‘Roses will give a concert in the Gelredome in Arnhem XS on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Singer Axl Rose and his band mates performed in the summer of 2006 for last time in the Netherlands.

In 1993 Guns N ‘Roses was sold out twice in Goffertpark. The band scored hits including Sweet Child O ‘Mine, Civil War, Welcome to the Jungle, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, November Rain and Paradise City.

Guns N ‘Roses album, Appetite for Destruction (1987), sold more than 90 million albums worldwide. The 1991 albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II debuted on the two highest spots on the Billboard 200 and have sold a combined 14 million copies in the United States alone and 35 million worldwide.

Guns N’ Roses’ mid-to-late 1980s and early 1990s years have been described by individuals in the music industry as the period in which “they brought forth a hedonistic rebelliousness and revived the punk attitude-driven hard rock scene, reminiscent of the early Rolling Stones.

The latest album by the band, Chinese Democracy, was released in 2008.
