The first trailer of Me and Mr. Jones, the film about Joran van der Sloot and Natalee Holloway, has been released.
The movie Me and Mr. Jones is about an undercover reporter who wants to know the truth about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Five years after the disappearance of high school girl Natalee Holloway in Aruba, the ambitious reporter wants to break into alleged murderer Joran van der Sloot’s home to force a breakthrough in the Natalee Holloway-case.
Emmy-nominated Robert de Hoog (‘Skin’) and Hanna Verboom (‘Deuce Bigalow’) play the leads in this English spoken movie of director Paul Ruven who recently won an Excellence Award at the film festival in Canada.
Five years after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, a movie about Joran van der Sloot has been shot in Aruba between april and july 2010. There was no earlier publicity, because this subject is very sensitive in Aruba.
During the shooting of the movie in Aruba Joran van der Sloot was arrested in Peru on suspicion of murdering Stephany Flores. This has been used in the filmstory.
The movie is expected in theatres at september 2011.
