King Willem wants your Photos!

King Willem wants your Photos!

The ‘last’ Queen’s Day certainly lived up to expectations, as celebrations erupted all over the Netherlands to farewell Queen Beatrix and welcome the new King.

Amsterdam was central to activities, hosting an estimated 800,000 extra visitors partying in its streets, but major events were held across the globe for Dutch & expats from Sydney to San Francisco. With music stages and festivities taking place in every major square, park and corner, it was an amazing spectacle of orange, with people of all ages and backgrounds taking part.

Whether you were dancing in the midst of a street party, dressed up in costume on a canal boat or enjoying a more laid back BBQ with friends, no doubt you have some great memories and photos from the historic day.

Now, you can share these photos with the King himself!

To commemorate the occasion, PastBook is collecting the best photos and stories from all the celebrations, and will publish these as a single book to give to King Willem-Alexander, so that he can relive his big day.

A PDF e-book will be made available to all those who join, and the ten best contributions will also receive a personal PastBook. Entries are open until 10th of May.

Show King Willem (and the world) how you celebrated!
