Last-minute Hotel Rooms for Royal Celebrations in Amsterdam

queensday
Next week, an estimated 800,000 people will descend on Amsterdam for one of the most anticipated royal events — the traditional Dutch Queen’s Day action and the celebrations marking the official inauguration of the new king and queen of the Netherlands.

Tipped to be the royal event of the century, thousands of royal tourists have already snapped up many of the hotel rooms across the capital.

But if you’re thinking of joining the celebrations, it’s not too late to book a room.

There is still availability for the royal event, with around 4000 hotel rooms still available for next week.

Queen’s Day (30 April) is always a special day in Amsterdam and this year, there’ll be even more to celebrate as the new king and queen of the Netherlands are officially inaugurated. The King’s Ball and Royal Boat Parade are just two of the events planned.

So, if you’re thinking of booking last minute accommodation, now’s the time to book it!
