Fewer benefits for Dutch citizens abroad

Dutch benefit claimants who reside outside the European Union, will soon receive much less money in their bank account.

Minister Henk Kamp (Social Affairs) will send a letter about this, this Monday, to the Second Chamber, reports De Telegraaf. Widows and widowers will receive around 5600 euro’s less per year.

“Our benefit system is designed for people who live in the Netherlands,’ says Kamp.
