Dutch Simeon Mulder Conquers America’s Got Talent 2010

16 year old Simeon Mulder from the Netherlands impressed the America’s Got Talent judges when they visited Orlando earlier this year.

The Dutch student’s audition was shown on last night’s two hour special and when the boy emerged onstage, dressed as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, we did wonder if he was a little bit crazy.

Simeon then went on to give an astounding rendition of a Mozart piece that we recognized, but couldn’t name and you could see the surprise on the judge’s faces. The teenagers mum claimed that the first American TV show Simeon ever watched was America’s Got talent, so being on this show was a dream come true for him.

The jury, including Sharon Osbourne, was deeply impressed with his performance.

Piers Morgan: “You’ve got more talent than any other act I’ve seen this season! You’re incredible!”

Sharon Osbourne: “If you could play anything, every day, what would it be?” He responded “The popular classics in a new way.”

Howie Mandel: “You’ve got a great stage presence, you’re very funny, you’re very witty, you’re incredibly talented so I’m going to say yes!”
