A car owner in the Netherlands got his stolen car back thanks to Twitter.

The classic car of the Dutch man was stolen near his home in Barneveld the Netherlands.

The man did sit still and used the social network Twitter, reported Omroep Gelderland.

More than one hundred people retweeted his message about the stolen car.

Sunday afternoon he got a message that his car had been found. The car radio was stolen and the locks had been badly damaged.

He was shocked he had managed to locate the stolen car himself, especially through a social networking site.
