The first-ever Amsterdam Bar Week

This year Amsterdam will come alive with its first-ever Amsterdam Bar Week.

The new Amsterdam lifestyle event, which will be staged from September 19th – 23rd, will undoubtedly create a buzz among bar-hoppers, who will in turn be rewarded with the ultimate bar experience where more than thirty clubs and bars open their doors for innovative events.

Going out for drinks usually means hanging out at your favourite bar. Quite rightly so. However, this means that you miss out on all the other great bars in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Bar Week invites you to discover all the exclusive venues the town has to offer, but never get to see.

It is these hidden gems of the Amsterdam bar scene that are the centre of the attention during the first ever Amsterdam Bar Week. Following example cities such as New York and London where the mix of nightlife and lifestyle has been much more integrated, Amsterdam now finally will be hosting its own lifestyle event of the year! From September 19th – 23rd, Amsterdam will be turned into Bar & Club Mecca – showcasing the best of bars, clubs, cocktails, lifestyle and buzzing events the city has to offer.

Through a broad variety of events… nightlife, drinks and lifestyle will come together, allowing you to eat, drink and play for 24/7 at some of Amsterdam’s most coveted venues, which include MOMO, Bridges bar, Nevy, Bo Cinq, Little Buddha, Vesper, Okura’s 23rd Bar and Door 74.

Among the more than 30 participating partners are renowned industry leaders Heineken, Bacardi, Diageo, Maxxium & Moët Hennessy. Together with lifestyle brands such as Redken, Gaastra, Johnny Loco and Citizens of Humanity, they are responsible for creating this unexpected, creative and inspiring week full of innovative and refreshing events.

Various venues and brands will join forces to showcase their own unique styles by hosting numerous innovative events. Every day a broad variety of events will be organized, varying from a Cointreauversial make-over in Rob Peetoom’s private salon followed by a limo-service to the Okura’s 23rd bar to show off your new look to a professional brandy Nosing and Tasting in the private VIP room of the Sopranos Piano Bar. How does a Rose’s Cup national bartender competition or an after- dinner Barista Meets Bartender special in the famous Little Buddha sound to you? All that – and everything in between – is happening throughout the Amsterdam Bar Week.
