Thieves smash car into Dutch Apple store

A brand new Apple Store in the Dutch city of Haarlem has become the target of a ram raid. Thieves reportedly smashed a car into the Apple Store, which was opened less than a month ago.

People nearby heard a loud bang early Tuesday morning. Thieves used a stolen car to ram-raid into the Dutch Apple Store and smashed through the beautiful plate glass windows.

The thieves stole Mac computers, iPads and iPhones before hopping on two getaway scooters and fleeing the scene. The vehicle used for the ram-raid was found abandoned in the store.

Witnesses told police that they saw several suspects in the store. Investigators are still working to determine the value of the goods stolen from today’s heist, while police are hunting for suspects.
