Victoria’s Secret opens first European store in Amsterdam

Good news for the Dutch women: the famous Victoria’s Secret will open a store at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam this fall.

It’s also the first store in Europe. The U.S. chain will open a so-called flagship store in London in 2012.

But who thinks to buy sexy lingerie or bikinis tax-free at the airport, will be disappointed. The shop is only seventy square meters. Therefore, there will be no room for lingerie and dressing rooms.

There will be other products available such as makeup, tights, shirts and accessories.

The new store will be located in Lounge 3. This lounge will get a big makeover. Also the luxury fashion brand Hermes will open a store there.

Victoria’s Secret Supermodels such as Doutzen Kroes, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton and Lily Aldridge are familiar faces from the American lingerie company Victoria’s Secret.

Victoria’s Secret is the market leader in lingerie and beauty products, with a contemporary line of fashion, perfumes and cosmetics featuring celebrated supermodels and world-famous fashion shows. There are over 1,000 Victoria’s Secret Lingerie and Beauty Stores worldwide. Victoria’s Secret Schiphol is located in Arrivals 4.
