Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York City

The Victoria’s Secret Angels hit the runway in New York City for their 2009 annual fashion show! The models looked amazing as usual in their spectacular lingerie.

With Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Selita Ebanks, Marissa Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Izabel Goulart, and Heidi Klum on horseback in the middle of New York City on horseback.

Doutzen Kroes became a Victoria’s Secret Angel last year after doing high-profile ads for Dolce & Gabbana and Versace.

Heidi Klum and her post-baby body led the parade at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which returned to New York with some fresh faces after four years on the road.

Victoria Secret inducted five more women into its “Angel” ranks — a designation reserved for top models — in front of a packed house Thursday night at the Lexington Avenue Armory. They are Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel.

But Klum was the audience favorite, she emerged from the huge, castlelike set to applause. Just five weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, the supermodel surprised the audience, walking the runway at the Victoria’s Secret lingerie fashion show Thursday night at the 69th Regiment Armory.

Musical guest The Black Eyed Peas kicked off the show with Boom Boom Pow as Ambrosio walked first in neon wings, with Miranda Kerr following in oversized space-like armored wings.

Victoria’s Secret always fuels hype about its models. An online model search started earlier this month and is now down to two contestants, one of whom will be chosen by the public to appear in the televised version of the fashion show that CBS will air Dec. 1.

Klum, who normally wears the most elaborate outfits, only appeared once, so it was former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Marissa Miller who had the honor of wearing a $3 million, diamond-encrusted bra.
